Our first Peace Camp was so much fun. Our elementary aged campers from around the community came and spent the week with us learning peace making skills. Some of the subjects that we focused on were non-violent conflict resolution skills, mindfulness, connection to nature, and media literacy. We had art, music, games, and ice cream!
We would like to thank the many volunteers, staff, and the community for supporting us. Without your help we could not have made Peace Camp happen. There is a lot of work that goes into building peace, it is not a spectator sport!
