WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We offer counseling and psychotherapy with a focus on trauma, grief, anxiety, and life transitions. We see all ages but work primarily with children and young adults from ages 3-25. We do not offer medication management, treatment primarily focused on addiction needs, mandated treatment, ADHD or autism assessments, or ESA letters. We will work closely with other healthcare professionals to best meet the needs of our clients.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

The first step is to contact us to see if we have availability, you may be put on a waitlist. Next you will have a free 10 minute phone consultation with your therapist to make sure that it is a good fit. After that we will have you fill out your intake paperwork, and verify your insurance. Then we will contact you and schedule your first appointment.

WHICH INSURANCES DO YOU TAKE?

We currently accept InterCommunity Health Network (IHN), Pacific Source, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Moda, Reliant, Providence, United, OHP Direct, Tri-Care, Aetna, and private pay. Please note that not all of our providers are in network with every option. We will check with you before scheduling your first appointment.

HOW MUCH WILL MY COPAYMENT BE?

This depends on your insurance plan. We will always verify what your copay will be before your first appointment so that there are no surprises.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE/SLIDING SCALE?

Yes. We offer sliding scale payments for people who qualify for financial aid. This practice serves all patients regardless of ability to pay. Discounts for essential services are offered based on family size and income. We follow federal poverty guidelines for eligibility. Contact the front desk office for more information.

CAN I RECEIVE ONGOING THERAPY?

We offer solution based therapy and do not offer ongoing, long term therapy.

DO YOU HAVE ONSITE PARKING?

We have free 2 hour parking in front of the office, dedicated parking on the side of our office, and you are able to park in the First Presbyterian Church parking lot as well.

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY RECURRING DONATION?

Please contact us by email to change the frequency, amount, date charged, or to cancel your donation.

DO YOU ACCEPT OREGON HEALTH PLAN (OHP)?

Yes, we accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP) if you have InterCommunity Health Network (IHN) or Medicaid Open Card.

WHAT IS EMDR AND HOW DOES IT HELP TRAUMA?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR therapy involves bilateral stimulation (usually eye movements, but can also be light tapping) that helps unblock the brain’s ability to process and heal from a traumatic event or emotional wound. There have been numerous studies on EMDR and it has been shown to be effective. It is safe for adults, teens, and children.
