Therapy in Corvallis, Oregon
Sometimes life gets heavy, and you don't have to carry it alone. At Authentic Hope: Center for Peace and Empowerment, we offer warm, evidence-based therapy for individuals and families in Corvallis and throughout the surrounding Mid Willamette Valley region. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or working through something you've been carrying for years, our therapists are here to walk beside you.

Therapy is simply a space where you are heard, supported, and gently challenged to grow. We believe healing is possible and that your path to it is uniquely yours. Our therapists listen deeply and co-create a healing journey with you.

We serve adults, teens, children, college students, and families across Corvallis, Albany, Philomath, and the greater Benton County area. Our work is grounded in compassion, evidence-based methods, and a deep respect for where you are right now.

Therapy at Authentic Hope may involve exploring patterns of thought that no longer serve you, processing past wounds that still feel present, or simply learning to breathe again. We draw from a range of approaches including EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, Play Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy to meet you exactly where you are.

Q: How do I know if therapy is right for me?
A: If you're asking the question, that's often a sign that it is. Therapy isn't only for crisis moments, it's for anyone who wants support, clarity, or a safe place to grow. Many people find that therapy helps them navigate everyday stressors, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more.

Q: What does a first therapy session look like?
A: Your first session is a chance for you and your therapist to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you're hoping to experience, your family history, and what feels most important to address. There's no pressure to share everything right away.

Q: Do you offer affordable therapy options?
A: Yes. As a non-profit counseling center, we offer sliding scale fees based on income and family size, following federal poverty guidelines. Our Masters Level Interns provide sessions for as little as $30. We want financial barriers to never stand between you and healing.
